President Thaçi promises to testify this Friday regarding the deportation of Turkish citizens

After several refusals to be interviewed by the Parliamentary Investigative Commission on the issue of the deportation of 6 Turkish citizens, President Hashim Thaçi has requested that this be done on April 26.

The head of this commission, Xelal Sveçla, said that he was informed about this by the Office of the Presidency a few hours before the meeting started, reports KTV.

Meanwhile, the former director of the KIA, Driton Gashi, and the former director of the Police, Shpend Maxhuni, have been invited for re-interview.

In addition, two members of the KIA, participating in the deportation operation of 6 Turkish citizens, will be interviewed.

Their interview will take place on May 3.

However, the issue of the continuation of the mandate and the work of this commission has clashed the deputies in power and opposition.

PDK deputy, Ganimete Musliu, described the work of this Commission as interference in justice.
