The President of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen, has congratulated President Vjosa Osmani on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of Independence.
The Presidency announced that in his message, the Austrian President spoke about the strong ties between the two countries.
"In his message, President Van der Bellen emphasized the strong ties that unite Austria and Kosovo, noting that the two countries share common European values and similar positions on many issues," the announcement says.
It is further reported that Van der Bellen recalled Austria's continued support for Kosovo and assured that this support will continue further on Kosovo's European path.
