Presidency: No decision by Trump so far negatively affects Kosovo

President Vjosa Osmani

The President's Office has stated that the United States envoy for the Western Balkans, Alexander Kasanof, has confirmed that none of President Donald Trump's decisions so far will negatively affect Kosovo "for now."

According to Bekim Kupina, media advisor to President Vjosa Osmani, Kasanof confirmed this in Tuesday's meeting with the president's chief of staff, Learta Hollaj, in Washington.

"President Osmani's Chief of Staff, Learta Hollaj, met yesterday in Washington DC with Alexander Kasanof, US Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Western Balkans, from whom she received confirmation that none of President Trump's decisions so far, for now, negatively affect Kosovo," Kupina told KOHĪNA.

This statement from the Presidency came after Trump signed an executive order temporarily suspending all US international assistance programs for 90 days, pending a review of whether they are consistent with his policy objectives.
