The process of counting all votes for the February 9 parliamentary elections has been completed at the Counting and Results Center.
This process, which was expected to be completed by 19:00 PM on Wednesday, ended two hours late.
The cause of this delay was a box that could not be counted due to problems in the system.
On Wednesday, conditional votes and those of people with special needs were counted.
The spokesperson for the Central Election Commission, Valmir Elezi, said that more than 15 ballots from conditional voting and from people with special needs have been counted.
"The CEC is obliged to wait at least 48 hours before announcing the final results of the Elections for the Assembly of Kosovo. This article provides for the possibility of submitting complaints to the ECAP, within a period of 48 hours from the occurrence of the alleged violation, regarding the administration of the count that took place at the Counting and Results Center. Today is the last day when there was an administration of the ballot counting here at the CNR, therefore this period is also calculated from today, March 5, 2025, 21:00," he said.
