The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, today received the representative of the United Nations Development Program in Kosovo, Maria Suokko, in an informative meeting, wishing her welcome and success in her work.
The president, as announced in the press release from the presidency, has emphasized that UNDP has supported Kosovo in many areas in the last two decades.
"We are satisfied with your contribution in the field of rule of law, environmental protection, but also in supporting economic development", said Thaçi.
On the other hand, the representative of UNDP in Kosovo, Maria Suokko, said that UNDP will continue to support Kosovo on its development path.
President Thaçi said that Kosovo's institutions will continue to cooperate and support UNDP projects.
