The Municipality of Prizren has announced that in the first quarter of this year it has collected more than the planned quarter of its own revenues, while in relation to the annual planning, during this period it has spent only 5 percent of the funds from this budget source .
The performance of the local government, related to its own revenues, namely their collection and expenditure, in recent periods has been constantly criticized by representatives of the opposition parties, "Koha Ditore" writes today.
This time, the Directorate of Finance explained in the report on the implementation of the budget that in the first quarter of 2017, nearly 1.7 million euros were collected from personal income.
"The total collected amount of own municipal revenues for this reporting period is 1 euros or 697 percent of the planned amount of 28 million euros," he writes in the report.
Also, it is emphasized that during the period January-March 2017, personal revenues were allocated in the amount of 900 thousand euros or 15 percent of the planning of 6.1 million euros.
