The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, has announced that Kosovo will not participate in the Summit for the Cooperation Process in Southeast Europe that will be organized in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Through a post on Facebook, he wrote that, despite the will and readiness to participate in the Summit on the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP), "the denigrating invitation of the current chairman of the presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina makes it impossible to participate and represent of Kosovo in this meeting", reports Koha.net.
According to him, Kosovo has always been and is ready for good neighborly relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina and for mutual recognition.
"But, unfortunately, this will of ours has been misused continuously, just like now with the organization of the SEECP by Bosnia and Herzegovina", he wrote.
According to Thaçi, the minimum that Kosovo requires for participation in such forums is equal treatment with other participating states.
He says that the behavior of Bosnia and Herzegovina is unacceptable and paradoxical, since according to him, its representatives apply completely anti-European practices, which do not differ from those of Serbia.

"With such a destructive approach, regional cooperation and good neighborliness between the states of the Western Balkans remains an unattainable prerequisite on the way to EU membership," he says.
Thaçi says that Kosovo remains committed to good neighborliness, regional cooperation and a Euro-Atlantic future, but does not accept to be subjected to and discriminated against by anyone.
