MP from the Vetëvendosje Movement, Faton Peci, has called untrue the suspicions that he may leave this parliamentary group if Fatmir Limaj runs for Speaker of the Assembly from this party.
Addressing the media after the failure of the session to constitute the Assembly, Peci was asked by journalists "why he threatened to leave VV if Limaj ran for speaker of parliament."
He said that this question is suggestive and only attempts to generate a headline.
"Completely untrue. This is the first time I'm hearing it from you. While I am in the entire part of the consultations and internal discussions. The acceptable name for the Vetëvendosje Movement continues to be Albulena Haxhiu, but your suggestive question that you are trying to come up with a title for is totally untrue," he said.
