Anëtarët e Komisionit për punë të jashtme nga radhët e Partisë Demokratike të Kosovës (PDK) dhe Aleancës kanë kërkuar angazhim më të madh të diplomacisë parlamentare për ish-krerët e Ushtrisë Çlirimtare të Kosovës dhe mbikëqyrje të zbatimit të Ligjit për Dhomat e Specializuara.
Në mbledhjen e mbajtur të martën ata e konsideruan të nevojshme që në planin e punës së komisionit të përfshihet angazhimi diplomatik për katërshen e UÇK-së, që u dënuan në shkallë të parë nga Gjykata Speciale, me 81 vjet burgim.
PDK MP Elmi Reçica said that the issue of the former KLA leaders should be among the committee's priorities. He requested that, through parliamentary friendship and diplomacy groups, state mechanisms be engaged to support them in diplomatic, legal and lobbying aspects.
“Çështja kyçe duhet të jetë ligji i votuar sa i përket Gjykatës Speciale, ku do të ketë një debat dhe përplasje dhe situata ku ne duhet të argumentojmë. Mendoj se çdo ligj që votohet në Parlamentin e Kosovës duhet të trajtohet njëjtë. Edhe ata që janë votuar më herët dhe këta që janë miratuar së fundmi. Sa i përket angazhimit dhe mbrojtjes së këtij ligji, diplomacisë parlamentare që mund të funksionojë përmes grupeve të miqësisë, duhet të kemi një vëmendje të veçantë sa i përket të akuzuarve dhe dënuarve në shkallë të parë në Hagë. Mekanizmi shtetëror është i angazhuar dhe ka pretendime të fuqishme se do të jenë karshi dhe konform ligjeve dhe mundësive që i ka ky shtet në mbrojtje diplomatike, ligjore dhe lobuese të atyre që ne konsiderojmë që janë padrejtësisht të dënuar. Kjo duhet të jetë edhe në kuadër të planit të punës”, deklaroi ai.
Meanwhile, Alliance MP Time Kadrijaj requested that the Committee also determine the supervision of the implementation of laws, emphasizing that this is one of the responsibilities of parliamentary committees.
"It is good to also determine the supervision of the implementation of laws. We have an obligation as parliamentary committees to supervise one law for one session. Within a calendar year, it is an obligation to supervise the implementation of two laws. I believe we have time until December, since it is the beginning of October, and let's see if the supervision of a law is also determined," she emphasized.
The discussion also mentioned the process of Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, as well as the role of the Assembly in developments related to the dialogue with Serbia and the Specialist Chambers in The Hague.
LDK MP Lutfi Haziri praised the role of the parliamentary committee in coordinating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during the Council of Europe membership process. He said that even in the current phase of developments, a supervisory mechanism and structured communication between the Assembly and the institutions responsible for the dialogue are needed.
"Membership in the Council of Europe was mentioned as a successful commitment, up to this stage that has been reached, the parliamentary committee has had a major role in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as is the issue of dialogue. At this stage of developments that is also related to the Specialized Chambers and the actions of the Assembly, there must be a supervisory role and a mechanism that must be built in communication to subordinate this dialogue with the Assembly," he said.
The Chairwoman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Arbëreshë Kryeziu-Hyseni, said that the work plan could be reviewed in the future, with the aim of defining common priorities and coordinating the commitments of MPs in international organizations.
"It is good to have a common strategy for issues that we push forward and for which we seek support from MPs wherever they have representation in international organizations. The Foreign Affairs Committee is beyond individual issues and beliefs, as it is a matter of pushing forward our national interest. It suits us all to work with a work plan that pushes forward our common interest," said Kryeziu-Hyseni.
Krahas kësaj, komisioni miratoi edhe projektligjin për ndryshimin e ligjit për ndarjet buxhetore. Kjo ishte mbledhja e parë e komisionit pas konstituimit më 13 shtator./KP
