Letter to the Reader — Why We're Asking for Your Support ContributeThey have stated that the decision to resign also comes as a result of the failure to resign of the two party co-chairs, Faton Peci and Donika Gërvalla, whom they have called "usurpers" of Guxo.
"The stance of Ms. Donika Gërvalla, who has lobbied against the re-election of President Osmani, is extremely worrying. For us, it is unacceptable that within the same political entity there is a lack of support for a President who has proven integrity and dedication to the state, as well as has done extraordinary work in foreign policy," Blakaj's announcement states, adding that from now on they support Osmani in every further decision.
On Thursday, the head of the branch in Decan, Rabije Haklaj, announced that she had resigned along with the branch leadership from all party structures. Their justification was due to their stances on President Osmani.
