The European Parliament once again voted in favor of visa liberalization for Kosovo.
The European deputies voted with 331 votes for, 126 against and 12 abstentions.
The proposal needed the approval of the Parliament and the Council, reports KTV.
The decision to exclude Kosovars from visa liberalization, however, does not affect the individual position of the EU states towards the status of Kosovo.
"The governments of the EU member states did not fulfill what they promised", the rapporteur for Kosovo, Tanja Fajon, said in the European Parliament.
"Kosovo has met all the criteria for liberalization, as the European Commission announced, and while the EU member states are blocking this small country without any reason," she said.
