The early and aggressive electoral campaign of political representatives is estimated to have a negative impact on the work of the Assembly. Connoisseurs of the political circumstances say that the harsh language, especially of the government with the opposition parties, will leave the Assembly without the fulfillment of the legislative agenda and without the ratification of international agreements, worth millions of euros.
The electoral campaign of the political parties for the national elections of February 9 is assessed as early, aggressive and harmful to the work of the institutions.
Those familiar with political issues said that the toughening of the language of party representatives, especially those in power towards the opposition, will affect the progress of the Assembly's work.
Analyst Arbnor Sadiku says that there are still a few months until the elections, for which Vetëvendosje should not jeopardize the functioning of the legislature, since there are a number of international agreements worth millions of euros that cannot be passed without the help of the opposition entities. .
"I don't see it as serious maybe for the opposition, because let's say the opposition has nothing to lose, but it is probably with some concerns about the position, because they need some votes from the opposition parties that are in the Assembly of Kosovo, especially for the approval of international agreements", said Sadiku.
The expert on political issues, Artan Muhaxhiri, says that the opposition has started this campaign earlier because it wants to use the political momentum that, according to him, is being characterized by some Government affairs.
"The reason why we now have a harsher language in the political discourse is because now the Government and the Vetëvendosje Movement are more vulnerable due to the departure of some deputies from the parliamentary group, but also due to some affairs that have come out recently , that's why the opposition also considers that now is the right moment to increase the aggressiveness of the opposition in this weakening of the Vetëvendosje Movement", said Muhaxhiri.
In addition to the negative effects on the internal political consensus on national issues, political experts say that the language of the political parties, no matter how tough it will be, will not affect the relations of the parties after the elections if they will need coalitions with each other.
"The past has shown that the political parties, especially during the campaign, had a little more attacks on each other, then when the elections came back, they cooperated with each other, especially in the past PDK and LDK. And now I believe that the Vetëvendosje Movement will need cooperation and to make it a majority it needs one of these opposition parties", said Sadiku.
Muhaxhiri also spoke in this spirit.
"Political parties forget all the accusations, insults, great criticisms towards each other when the moment comes to create government coalitions, even so I believe it will happen even after February 9", he said.
Although the elections are three months away, the leaders of the political parties have started the pre-election campaign and the presentation of the governing programs.
