Osmani receives German Ambassador Rohde in farewell meeting

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received the German Ambassador, Jorn Rohde, in a farewell meeting. 

Osmani thanked Rohde for his commitment during his time as German ambassador to Kosovo. 
She said that Germany remains an important strategic partner of Kosovo.

"President Osmani reiterated that Germany remains an important strategic partner of the Republic of Kosovo and that the partnership between the two states is constantly growing. On this occasion, the importance of deepening economic relations was highlighted, which have been strengthened thanks to the valuable contribution of the Kosovar diaspora in Germany, who through their investments and engagement constitute a strong connecting bridge between the two countries and our peoples. The President expressed gratitude for the support that Germany has provided to Kosovo over the years, including support for the path towards Euro-Atlantic integration. She also appreciated Germany's continued support in various sectors through numerous development projects. President Osmani wished Ambassador Rohde further success in his future engagements," the Presidency's announcement states.
