The partners of the governing coalition are looking for ways to reconcile the opposite positions regarding the measure of reciprocity with the United States of America.
American diplomats are putting a lot of pressure on the Government of Kosovo for the immediate removal of the tax and at the same time they are opposing the establishment of full reciprocity with Serbia, warned by Prime Minister Albin Kurti, "Koha Ditore" writes today.
The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, told the newspaper that they are in constant communication with the representatives of the United States to find a common modality in terms of reciprocity.
"We are in constant communication with the representatives of the United States of America and in the end we will find a common modality, which is in the interest of our country, in the interest of protecting friendship with the United States and its role in this process. It is in the interest of dialogue and the fastest realization of an agreement that is legally binding and at the same time with mutual recognition", Osmani stated, in an interview given to "Koha Ditore".
