The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, was honored on Monday in Vienna with the Europe Prize from the Pan-European Foundation "Coudenhove-Kalergj".
The ceremony was organized by the Pan-European Foundation.
"Today, in the heart of Europe, in Vienna, I respectfully accepted the Europe Prize from the Pan-European Foundation "Coudenhove-Kalergi", in a special ceremony organized by PanEuropa. Two decades ago, the same prize was awarded to the historic President of Kosovo, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova. This is an honor for the Republic of Kosovo and a testament that our European path, built on President Rugova's vision for peace, democracy and transatlantic partnership, continues with determination. For a Kosovo that believes, that stands and that moves forward!" - Osmani wrote on Facebook.
