"During the visit to Washington DC, we had a roundtable discussion with diplomats and experts regarding Kosovo's strategic foreign policy goals, including NATO membership, as well as the commitment to strengthening our alliance with the United States. On Kosovo's path towards Euro-Atlantic institutions, the support of our partners and allies is vital," wrote Osmani, who has been staying in the US for several days.

She met with the Assistant Secretary of State, and in a lecture she said that recently US President Donald Trump has prevented an escalation of the situation in Kosovo.
