The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met on Thursday with the head of the Central Election Commission, Kreshnik Radoniqi, where they talked about the importance of the electoral process being fair, transparent and based on the Constitution.
The presidency announced on Facebook that Radoniqi informed Osman about the preparations at the CEC "so that citizens can exercise their right to vote.
"In order to guarantee the constitutional functioning of the institutions, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, today hosted the chairman of the Central Election Commission, Kreshnik Radoniqi, to discuss preparations for the electoral process for the regular parliamentary elections that will will be held on February 9, 2025. In this meeting, among other things, President Osmani emphasized the importance of the electoral process being a fair, transparent, integrity-based process Constitution and law. Mr. Radoniqi informed the President about the preparations that the CEC is making regarding the administration of the elections, so that all citizens can exercise the right to vote, in a legal and transparent electoral process", the announcement of the Presidency states. .
