The opposition political parties in the Assembly of Kosovo consider that the lack of a parliamentary majority and the legitimacy to lead institutions is preventing the normal functioning of the Assembly of Kosovo.
The MPs of the opposition parties point out that the Assembly has been functioning for more than two months only with extraordinary sessions, which the opposition is calling.
Avdullah Hoti, head of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic League of Kosovo, told Radio Free Europe that the LDK, as an opposition party, will continue its actions in the Assembly to make it impossible for the institutions to be run by political parties, and as he said , the people without legitimacy who run the institutions.
He said that with this form of government, the country's vital processes are being damaged more and more every day.
Albulena Haxhiu, deputy from the Vetëvendosje Movement, in a conversation for Radio Free Europe, says that the Assembly of Kosovo has not been functional for some time, and that according to her, under such circumstances, the current government should resign.
