Arbnor Mjeku from the Germin organization said that there were no obstacles regarding the votes of the diaspora and that everything was in order.
However, Mjeku says that counting these votes may take more than a week as in the previous elections of 2019. He adds that the number of votes from the diaspora has increased, which is why their counting will take longer.
"The increase in the number from the diaspora, the votes have been double from the previous elections. The process of counting votes from the diaspora may be longer this election, compared to 2019. Based on 2019, where it was approximately one week, the length of the verification and counting of votes from the diaspora will be longer, maybe 10 days . Last time, there were approximately 20 votes counted from the diaspora, while now we only have 43,447 envelopes, which is much more if the situation is two votes in one envelope. The time of verification and counting will be ready", said the Doctor in the "Sot" show of KYTV.
He also spoke about the problems of some emigrants who presented after coming to Kosovo to vote, but who said that they did not find their names on the lists. He said that they are dealing with this issue.
"We have taken into account all their complaints and we will start their appeal. We had complaints to the CEC that the complaints", said the Doctor.
Meanwhile, almost all of the regular votes have been counted, close to 98 percent of them, as the winners were the Vetëvendosje Movement.
