An Albanian girl from Kosovo is one of the two injured at the Viertola school in Finland, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has informed TIME.

In the response of this ministry, it is stated that the girl's injury was confirmed by the victim's family members.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, through the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Stockholm, managed to confirm from the family members that among the wounded there is also an Albanian girl from Kosovo. The Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Stockholm is in constant contact with the local authorities and with the family of the injured girl and has offered its assistance according to the instructions received by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs", the ministry's response states. 

From this gun attack, a 12-year-old died, while two others suffered serious injuries. 

A 12-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of injuring three others his age at a school in Finland on Tuesday.
