Trilateral meeting starts in Brussels

dialogue

A tripartite meeting between the chief negotiators of Kosovo and Serbia with the European Union envoy for dialogue Miroslav Lajcak is underway in Brussels.

The meeting is being held after the bilateral meetings of the EU's Special Representative for dialogue, with the head of the Kosovo delegation, Besnik Bislimi, and with that of Serbia, Petar Petkovic.
The joint tripartite meeting between them started after 15:00, reports RTK

As the European Union announced a few days ago, both sides have confirmed their participation and that there they will consider "a number of issues, including the implementation of the Agreement for the normalization of relations".

Kosovo's deputy prime minister, Besnik Bislimi, and Serbia's chief negotiator, Petar Petkovic, met for the last time in October.

Even there, no concrete result was achieved towards the implementation of the Brussels agreement and the Ohrid annex, agreed by the parties in 2023.
