I akuzuari për “Spiunazh” dhe “Shantazh”, Fatmir Sheholli ka dalë sot para Gjykatës.
Në seancë mungon i dëmtuari Nenad Rashiq. Kryetari i trupit gjykues, Avni Syla tha se Rashiqi e ka njoftuar Gjykatën për mungesën e tij.
“I njëjti është ftuar në seancë, dhe jemi njoftuar që gjendet jashtë vendit dhe e ka të pamundur të marrë pjesë në seancën e sotme”.
Me pëlqimin e palëve në procedurë u konsiderua e lexuar aktakuza. I akuzuari u deklarua përsëri i pafajshëm.
Në seancën e sotme priten fjalët hyrëse.
Edhe më 7 shtator, në seancën fillestare, Fatmir Sheholli qe deklaruar i pafajshëm për veprat me të cilat ngarkohet.
On August 25, 2026, the Special Prosecution Office filed an indictment against Fatmir Sheholli for two criminal offenses, while prosecutor Bekim Kodraliu read part of the indictment.
The prosecution claims that Sheholli was recruited by the Serbian intelligence service "BIA" and continuously and with direct intent, acted according to orders and assigned tasks.
"The defendant Fatmir Sheholli, from an unspecified date until 09.10.2025, in the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, continuously and with direct intent, in the capacity of a person recruited by the Serbian Intelligence Service - (known as 'BIA'), has assisted the activity of this service, acting according to the orders and tasks assigned by its senior official, Bojan Dimić, director of the Directorate Against Terrorism and International Organized Crime, so that the defendant Sheholli has collected, secured and, through communications and telephone messages, has forwarded to this official data, information and documents related to political activities, the security situation and the functioning of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo", said Kodraliu.
According to the indictment, Sheholli is also suspected of having implemented an operational plan prepared by BIA official Bojan Dimić, which, according to the Prosecution, aimed to harm Kosovo's interests and interfere in the electoral process of October 12, 2025.
Sheholli was arrested on October 9th of last year and has been in custody since then.
He has worked as a journalist, advisor in the Municipality of Gracanica and in the Ministry of Returns and Communities. He has also led a non-governmental organization and has had numerous media appearances as a political analyst.
