The countdown to September 16 begins

Në sheshin “Nënë Tereza” në Prishtinë është shtypur butoni i numërimit mbrapsht, në kuadër të aktivitetit “Ora e Pritjes” të platformës “Liria ka Emër”. Besiana Musmurati, Altin Krasniqi, Aris Selimi, Ismail Tasholli dhe Eliza Hoxha shtypën butonin, duke nisur numërimin e 25 ditëve deri më 16 shtator, datë kur pritet vendimi përfundimtar për ish-krerët e UÇK-së në Hagë.

Kryetari i Partisë Demokratike të Kosovës, Bedri Hamza, gjatë këtij aktiviteti ka thënë se afrimi i kësaj date nuk duhet ta zbehë kujtesën për luftën dhe sakrificën e UÇK-së.

"Time is running out. The wait has already shortened, but our memory is not. On the contrary, the closer the day gets, the louder we must say what we have to say," declared Hamza.

He said that September 16 should be in the attention of citizens every day, emphasizing that the screens placed in Pristina and other cities in Kosovo will symbolize the waiting for the decision of the Special Court.

"This screen here is a symbol of our waiting in Pristina. But similar screens will be placed all over Kosovo. Because here they are more than screens. They are a message. A message for the families who are waiting, a message for those in The Hague and a message for the whole world that Kosovo does not forget," he said.

"We don't forget who fought, we don't forget who sacrificed, we don't forget who negotiated in Rambouillet, we don't forget who secured NATO's intervention, we don't forget who made Kosovo free, independent and integrated into the world," Hamza said.
