The Kosovo Hydrometeorological Institute has announced that during the next week, Kosovo will be affected by unstable air masses of western and northwestern origin, which will cause changeable weather and precipitation.
As announced, moderate to high intensity rain is expected in low-lying areas, while in high mountainous areas precipitation will be mixed - rain and snow, especially at altitudes above 1,500 meters above sea level.
"This episode of atmospheric instability will last until Wednesday, accompanying the country with strong southwest winds, temporary decreases in temperatures, and increased relative humidity in the air," the announcement states.
It is announced that from Thursday of the week, a gradual stabilization of meteorological conditions is expected, with sunny intervals and a slight increase in thermal values, both in minimum and maximum temperatures.
The IHMK says that over the weekend, the weather is expected to be more stable, with favorable conditions for agricultural activities and travel.
Monday is expected to be mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Minimum temperatures will range from 5-7 degrees Celsius, while maximums will range from 8-11 degrees Celsius.
Tuesday will see similar weather with minimum temperatures of 3 degrees and maximum temperatures of 9 degrees Celsius.
Wednesday will also see cloudy weather and rain, with the minimum expected to be 4 degrees Celsius and the maximum 11 degrees Celsius.
Thursday is expected to be cloudy with sunny intervals. The minimum is expected to be 1 degree Celsius, while the maximum is 16.
Meanwhile, Friday will see sunny weather with scattered clouds. The minimum temperature is expected to be 3-6 degrees Celsius, while the maximum is 13-18 degrees Celsius.
