Starting from December 1, 2024, citizens of the Republic of Kosovo with regular, diplomatic or official passports will be able to travel without visas to Taiwan.
This was announced by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Kreshnik Ahemti.
"This marks another important step in the international strengthening of Kosovo's passport, where visa-free travel to the Schengen Area, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Israel and now to Taiwan was made possible only within this governing mandate," Ahmeti wrote. .
According to him, this new opportunity for free movement with Taiwan paves the way for economic partnerships, educational exchanges and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
