The second school semester starts tomorrow, compliance with anti-Covid measures is required

In all Kosovo schools of pre-university education, the second semester begins tomorrow.

Acting Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Ramë Likaj, has congratulated the students on this occasion, requesting compliance with anti-Covid-19 measures.

"On the occasion of the beginning of the second half-year, I wish you all good luck and invite you to take extra care in maintaining health, respecting the anti-Covid-19 measures. Thanks to the excellent cooperation between MASh, DKAs, school management, students, parents, SBASHK, donors and partners and all relevant actors, we managed to successfully close the first half-year. I invite you to show commitment this time and do our best in providing quality education for our students", Likaj wrote on Facebook.

Even the Acting Minister of Health, Armend Zemaj, has congratulated the students through a status on Facebook, also requesting that the measures against the coronavirus be respected to the maximum.

"On the occasion of the start of classes in the second half of the year, thanking you for your continued cooperation, I wish you success. Every day, in every situation, I invite you to be careful and respect the anti-Covid measures, let's continue together to protect personal health and the health of others. Even this half-year has its own difficulties because the virus is among us, so let's all commit ourselves, each one in his duties and responsibilities, to respecting the preventive measures against the virus. Let's have a school year as soon as possible successful!", wrote Zemaj.

The first semester has been developed with continuous interruption of the school process in many primary and secondary schools due to the appearance of new cases of coronavirus among students and teachers.
