The first damage reports from the November 26 earthquake in buildings and residential houses in Tirana are published.
According to the Director of Emergencies in the Municipality of Tirana, until now there are 140 uninhabitable buildings in the capital.
"The first acts of official assessment have arrived. In terms of damage to the building, they are divided into three categories. For those that we have proof that there is no damage to the structure, we have started the process of identifying the needs and repairs. Medium damage will take a specialized eye and then repair. For the heavy ones, it will be decided whether the buildings will remain standing or collapse", declared Bejko.
After the closing of the final reports, the Municipality of Tirana says that the work will start on the repairs of light damages in the facilities that have not suffered damage to the structure.
