In the General Hospital in Gjakovë, during the last 24 hours, 130 patients were treated for COVID-19. Of them, 109 people have been confirmed positive, 7 have tested negative and 14 unconfirmed. From Albania, 8 patients have been treated.
According to the data, 80 patients with COVID-19 are on oxygen therapy.
The director of this hospital, Hilmi Shala, informed KOHANI that 6 patients with COVID-19 are in intensive care and are in a serious condition, while the others are in a stable condition.
He said that 130 beds for those infected with COVID-19 are currently in use in the Gjakova hospital, while 45 beds are vacant.
"These beds are enough for the moment, we are prepared to increase the capacities at any moment", said Shala.
