However, the Loot Market in the "Taphane" neighborhood of this city, otherwise known as "Lama e Teshave", has remained closed for more than a year.

Traders affected by its closure say that they were initially assigned a location at the end of the train station, but were later turned away.

Now, as they say, they are coming out to another location.

The sellers indicate that there are about 50 of them, members of different communities, and that they all support their families from this market.

However, the director of Urbanism in Peja does not rule out the possibility of using a public space for this market, which was also discussed in the Board of Directors.

"It has been discussed, since it has been presented as a need, and proposals have actually been given for several locations where it is possible to establish such a market, and I believe that it will be resolved as an issue", said Rajan Arapi, director of Urbanism.

As a possible location for this market, Arapi highlighted the municipal space where the "Ambienti" waste company was previously located, which is located not far from the old market and is currently unused.
