In Primary Health Care, rapid diagnostic tests of the SAR COV antigen can be performed from today, in addition to serological tests for the presence of IgG and IgM, which have been allowed so far in KPSH.
The Minister of Health, Armend Zemaj, signed today the addition-amendment of the Administrative Instruction through which Primary Health Care institutions are also enabled to perform rapid diagnostic tests for the diagnosis of COVID-19.
"In addition to the serological tests for the presence of IgG and IgM, which were previously allowed in the public institutions of the KPS, from now on the rapid diagnostic tests of the SAR COV antigen can also be performed", the statement of the Ministry of Health states.
