For the second day in a row, a protest was held in Graçanica in support of the seven arrested for beating the son of politician Nenad Rashić, Nikola.
The protest was organized today at noon by about 50 Serbian students. The night before, the families of those arrested also organized a protest. Both protests were held in front of the police station in this city, RadioKIM announced.
The protests demanded the release of those arrested. Family members said it is a common beating that happens in every community, rejecting the idea that it was motivated by politics.
On Monday, dozens of young Serbs beat the son of the politician Rasic in the school yard in Llapnaselle.
The prosecution announced that the victim suffered serious injuries. The victim's father has linked the incident to politics, while accusing the Serbian List and Belgrade of inciting and escalating the situation.
