Kosovo Customs has announced that at Pristina Airport it has confiscated several jars of manuka honey that a passenger on the Istanbul-Pristina line did not declare.
According to customs, the total value of the undeclared goods is €2,922.78, while the avoidance of customs obligations is calculated at €871.00.
"On 12.09.2024, around 20:15, at the Airport - Arrival Border Crossing Point, during the Istanbul - Pristina flight, a passenger was selected for control, who had chosen the green channel to cross. After checking the luggage and analyzing the images from the scanner, the following undeclared goods were found: 38 pieces of Manuka Honey "AIRBORNE" 30+ (500 gr), worth €2,047.44. 18 pieces of Manuka Honey "AIRBORNE" 50+ (500 gr), worth €875.34", the announcement states.
This case was handled according to the legal procedures of the Kosovo Customs and consequently the goods were seized.
