The President of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, has said that the idea of exchanging territories between Kosovo and Serbia is a barren rhetoric, although irresponsible and dangerous.
In an interview for Koha.net, the head of the LDK says that the reopening of the Kosovo issue is equal to the reopening of independence. According to him, no one has the right to do this and that with Serbia we need an agreement for mutual recognition, in the borders where Kosovo has declared independence and has been recognized internationally.
"We need normalization of relations and good neighborliness", declared Mustafa.
He says that neither the president of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, nor the prime minister of the country, Ramush Haradinaj, can be trusted.
"It is barren rhetoric, but irresponsible and dangerous. One promises that we will take the Preševo Valley and give nothing, the other that correcting the borders causes war, but everyone governs together, they share their roles together, they appear in Brussels together and together they try to deceive the public. Neither one nor the other can be trusted", Mustafa stated in this interview.
