Over 100 million euros less revenue has been recorded by Kosovo Customs since the beginning of the implementation of the Stabilization-Association Agreement. The data of this institution show an increase in imports from EU countries, during the last three years, since the Agreement began to be implemented.

Coverage of import with export in this period is only 10 percent. According to economic experts, the difference between import and export is the result of small production capacities in Kosovo, "Koha Ditore" writes today.

According to the data of the Kosovo Customs, until April 2016, the exemption from taxes of products imported from the EU as a result of the implementation of the SAA was worth 23 million 836 thousand 226 euros, in February of this year has doubled, reaching 48 million 290 thousand 34 euros.

Based on these data, the exemption from customs tax from the beginning of the implementation of the SAA is about 86 million 368 thousand 319 euros, while the exemption from value added tax is 14 million 527 thousand 697 euros.
