The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, the Liaison Office of Kosovo in Serbia, after reports about the murder of a Kosovar citizen in Serbia, has asked the Serbian authorities to confirm the identity of the person killed.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora will keep you informed as soon as there is new information regarding this case," the announcement states.
Serbia has not confirmed the person killed by the Serbian police today near Lloznica. Serbian media have hinted that the person killed is Faton Hajrizi.
Hajrizi is suspected of killing a policeman and wounding another in Lloznica yesterday. He had escaped from Smrekonica prison on July 6.
