The spokesperson for the Regional Water Supply Company "Prishtina", Arjeta Mjeku, has announced that the high level of turbidity in the water from Lake Badovci is expected to last only two to three days, after which the water will clear up and be drinkable again.
She explained that the water is currently undrinkable due to turbidity, but does not pose a serious risk, as there is no increase in manganese values, unlike the previous situation. According to the Doctor, the water can only be used after boiling, but it is recommended not to consume it for drinking in order to preserve the health of citizens.

Letter to the Reader — Why We're Asking for Your Support Contribute"The high level of turbidity will only last two or three days and will clear up. The water is undrinkable, but it can be boiled as it is already turbid and does not have the added value of manganese like last time," the doctor said on KTV's "SOT" show.
She announced that a special drinking water supply line has been provided for the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCK).
Regarding Lake Batllava, the doctor emphasized that there is no turbulence there, despite the increase in the amount of water, while the situation in the Ibar canal has also improved compared to recent days.
The recent rainfall, according to her, has had a positive impact on filling the lakes, improving the situation after the water shortage in Badovc and Batllava. This situation, as Mjeku says, ensures water supply until the end of the year, provided that citizens spend water rationally and avoid illegal connections to the water supply network.
