The Assembly of Kosovo has approved the agreement with Denmark for the Use of the Correctional Institution in Gjilan for the Purpose of Execution of Danish Sentences.
Based on this agreement, Denmark will rent 300 cells, while they are expected to be in the Gjilan prison. The agreement will be valid for 10 years, while Kosovo will receive 210 million euros.
According to the agreement, after serving the sentence, the prisoners will be deported from Kosovo.
This agreement failed to be approved in the Assembly in the session held a week ago.
While the Government has approved it and forwarded it to the Parliament on Monday of this week.

In the session held on Thursday, the Assembly also approved the Co-financing Agreement for the design of the Project for the construction of the tunnel on the Tetovë-Prizren road".
The Amendment to the Financial Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the European Union for the IPA 2020 Program was also approved, as was the agreement with OPEC.
The draft law for the ratification of amendment number 2 of the financial agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the European Union for the IPA 2016 program has also been approved.
The vote on the Bill on reproductive health is postponed again
The vote on the second reading of the Bill on reproductive health and medically assisted fertilization has been postponed again.
The deputies did not approve the amendment of the deputy Visar Korenica, where he asked to remove the parts that provided that the right to reproduction also belongs to individuals, in addition to married couples (husband and wife).
The majority of votes in the Assembly for this amendment were abstentions.
Speaker Glauk Konjufca has said that the draft law will be put to the vote when there is a consensus.
Meanwhile, the Assembly has voted in the second reading the Draft Law on Wines.
The last point for the UP statute is moved
The review of the Statute of the University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina" has been moved as the last item on the agenda of the Assembly.
It was originally the fourth item on the agenda, but now it has been placed after the items on international agreements.
The University of Pristina has called earlier for the deputies of the Assembly of Kosovo to vote on the new statute of the UP.

Meanwhile, with the proposal of Vetëvendosje, the draft law for the ratification of the financial agreement for the first program for the financing of development policies for fiscal effectiveness, competitiveness and green growth between Kosovo and the International Association for Development and Draft law for the ratification of amendment number 2 of the financial agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the European Union for the IPA 2016 program.
Three international agreements are approved
The Assembly has approved the Draft Law for the ratification of the Agreement for the recognition of professional qualifications for nurses, veterinary surgeons, pharmacists and midwives in the context of the Central European Free Trade Agreement.
It also approved the Draft Law on the ratification of the Amendment to the Agreement on the Establishment of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ("the Agreement") - Article 1.
Also, the MPs have approved the draft law for the ratification of the Credit Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo represented by the Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfers, and the Development Bank of the Council of Europe (BZHKE) for the "Adequate Social Housing" Project.
The Assembly is holding two sessions today, with the draft code of conduct for MPs also on the agenda
The Assembly of Kosovo will hold two plenary sessions today.
One is a continuation of the extraordinary session and is expected to start at 10:00. On the agenda in this session is the review of three international agreements.
Meanwhile, the new session is expected to start at 10:30 a.m., which has 23 items on the agenda.
Among other things, the draft code of conduct for deputies is also expected to be reviewed.

Also on the agenda is the vote for the establishment of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry on the executive responsibilities of the Ministry of Justice in relation to the suspicious fires in the Institute of Forensic Medicine, the disappearance of samples in the case of Astri Dehari and any action or inaction of this ministry that has violated the independence and legal responsibilities of this institute as well as the reporting of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo on the progress on the implementation of the objectives of sustainable development and the reflection of the transformational Agenda of Kosovo in the budget and government policies.
