The Minister of Infrastructure, Pal Lekaj, hosted on Thursday representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Investment Bank, where they discussed infrastructure projects financed by the EBRD, as well as the progress achieved so far in these projects, is announced through a press release.
Lekaj informed the representatives of the EBRD and the EIB that despite the complications in various fields, as well as the financial capacities of the state budget, the Ministry of Infrastructure will try not to leave any project dormant, as this is in the interest of the citizens of Republic of Kosovo.
"The creation of Implementation Units has significantly influenced the increase of the work potential of the Ministry of Infrastructure, in order to rehabilitate the roads", asserted Lekaj during this meeting.
Lekaj said that in accordance with the rules of the European Union, as well as in the interest of the citizens of Kosovo, any agreement on infrastructure projects with international organizations will be developed on the basis of predetermined criteria, which aim to finalize each project.
