The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, will stay in Kosovo from July 21 to 23.
The police have announced that during this visit they will take care of providing security and maintaining order and public peace during the movement and stay of the state delegation in Kosovo.
According to the announcement, on Thursday in order to enable the free movement of the official escort under escort and security according to the movement route, the Kosovo Police will make temporary interruptions, in short time intervals, of the traffic flow in some road segments where it is expected to pass escort.
"Also, on the day of the return, on July 23, according to the official agenda, the same police actions will be taken, on the movement of the escort, on the roads that are used for the traffic of the escort. In order to enable the circulation and reorientation of traffic on alternative roads in the locations where the escort is expected to pass, police officers from the relevant units will be engaged, therefore the Kosovo Police requires full understanding from the citizens and traffic participants", the announcement states.
The Presidency has announced that at the invitation of President Osmani, the President of Albania, Ilir Meta, will pay an official visit to Kosovo, on the occasion of the end of his mandate.
