Teachers protest by blocking the road to the parking lot

Some teachers of the "Hasan Prishtina" school in Pristina protested on Tuesday morning, blocking the road in front of this educational institution.

The protest was held due to the dissatisfaction of the teachers with the Municipality of Pristina, which has given the part in front of the school for management to the public enterprise "Prishtina Parking".

With this, each parking requires payment and time is limited.

The teachers have complained that even the officials of the Directorate of Education in the Municipality of Pristina are not allowing them to park their cars inside the school yard.

"We will try to talk, to find a solution", said teacher Merita Ahmetaj.

She comes to this school from Çagllavica.

"I have no chance of coming to school on time, I also have a hurt leg. Therefore, the car is the only solution for transportation. But the problem is parking. I call on the municipality to come up with a solution", she added.

During the protest, which lasted about half an hour, many citizens expressed their frustration with the blocking of the road.
