The Kosovo Security Force will for the first time participate in exercises with the NATO mission, KFOR, EULEX and the Kosovo Police in crisis management training activities in various scenarios.

As announced by KFOR, training activities within the framework of the "Golden Sabre 2025" exercise at Camp Vrelle will be held on June 9 and 10.

"This exercise will test the implementation of crisis management procedures in various security scenarios and will help increase the ability of different entities to operate together," KFOR said in a statement.

The exercise will involve 600 personnel.

As KFOR has said, this exercise is a demonstration of good and long-term cooperation between KFOR, EULEX and the Kosovo Police.

"For the first time, the Kosovo Security Force will also participate in this exercise, in line with its original civil protection mandate, through training activities on the safe handling and disposal of explosive ordnance and hazardous materials," the announcement states.
