The Ministry of Economic Development (MED) and the University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina" have signed a memorandum of understanding.
This agreement aims to stimulate 50 students from UP, namely from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, to perform their practical part in institutions that deal with energy.
MFA Minister Valdrin Lluka said that the implementation of this agreement is immediate, while the practice will be paid.
"It is important that the energy sector is the sector of the future. The idea of this agreement is to provide electrical engineering students with internships in institutions that deal with energy. This internship will be for 50 students and the internship will be paid."
Lluka also said that 30 scholarships will be provided for students studying Electrical Engineering.
"We are thinking that we will provide 30 scholarships for students from Kosovo who study in this direction. The implementation of this is immediate, but as for the payment, it depends on the companies".
UP rector Marjan Demaj said that this is a convenient and ideal opportunity for students to complete their internships under appropriate conditions, EO reports.
