Albania-Montenegro joint governmental meeting, Rama: Let's work on trade exchanges

The joint meeting of the Albanian and Montenegrin governments was held on Tuesday morning in Shkodër.

In his speech, the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama stated that Albania and Montenegro are today "more connected than ever before", but added that "in this connection there is great untapped potential".

"Many Albanian citizens go to Montenegro during the year. This is the everyday life of our people, and we have to carry forward the projects on this everyday life. Albania and Montenegro are blessed with fantastic natural beauty. Their joint promotion in the cross-border space and harmonized environmental protection policies will enable us not only to increase the capacity to host even more tourists, but also to strengthen the real need for each other," declared Rama. , reports Tch.

The head of the Albanian government emphasized, on the other hand, that Albania and Montenegro have work to do in terms of trade exchanges.

Even the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dushko Markovic, underlined that economic cooperation between Albania and Montenegro should be advanced.
