With the motto "We march against the patriarchy that kills", dozens of people marched in the capital's squares. This march is organized on International Women's Day, March 8.
Banners with other mottos such as "Every woman is a working woman" and "Yes you want to work without harassing me" were seen there.
Many well-known figures were also seen participating in this march. President Vjosa Osmani and the leader of the Vetëvendosje movement, Albin Kurti, also joined the walk.
During the march, sheets with inscriptions containing concrete appeals and targeting the violence and murders that have occurred against women during 2020 were unfurled in institutions.
The organizers have requested that others who want to join the call, can place on the balconies of their homes sheets in which they describe the struggle against oppression that takes place inside and outside their homes./EO/
