Macedonia: Radoicic's group often moves close to the border - it remains a security risk

The Serbian terrorist group led by Milan Radoicic is often moving close to the Kosovo border, Defense Minister Ejup Maqedonci said. According to him, this group represents a threat to the security of the country, while it remains unpunished for last year's terrorist attack in Banjska i Zveçani.

In addition, Macedonia has added that the large military presence of Serbia along the border line with Kosovo, the frequent exercises in the border zone, as well as the militarization of Serbia by Russia and China, are a risk for the instability of the entire Western Balkans.

Macedonia has asked Serbia to hand over to Kosovo all the participants in the terrorist attack in Banjska.

"The fact has been emphasized several times by the director of the police and information has been presented about the involvement of this group in various preparations within the territory of Serbia. This keeps the situation fragile and poses a threat to our country. Adding to the fact that this group has been supported by the security structures of Serbia, taking into account the evidence that has been found, with special emphasis on the weapon systems that were used by this group that were systems produced in factories in Serbia and that cannot be bought on the commercial market... The fact that this group continues to be free in Serbia and that it often moves close to the border of Kosovo, continues to remain a threat to security and stability", said Maqedonci.

He stated that Serbia, through military exercises along the border belt, wants to put pressure on Kosovo.

"The presence of these forward operational bases of the Serbian army and gendarmerie not far from the border with Kosovo continues to pose a threat to our country. Adding to this the issue of exercises, we really appreciate that it is at least not elegant for a neighboring country to send its army to conduct exercises on its border. We estimate that this is a form of pressure that the Republic of Serbia continues to apply against the Republic of Kosovo", he added.

Speaking about the Russian-Serbian hybrid war, he says that they have taken steps to protect themselves, while emphasizing that the goal is destabilization and skepticism about the path of Euro-Atlantic integration.

"We have witnessed several attacks recently, especially after the support we have given to Ukraine.
