French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz want a meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić this week.
Macron announced at a media conference from Bratislava on Wednesday that he hopes he and Scholz will meet with Kurti and Vucic at the ECP Summit in Chisinau, Moldova this week.
The French President blamed Kosovo for the tensions in the north.
Today in the Slovak capital, Kurti met with the High Representative of the EU, Josep Borrell, and the emissary Miroslav Lajčak, who were told that in order to calm the situation in the north, the violent protesters must be removed first.
