Representatives of the Serbian List have invited the Serbs in Kosovo to gather in North Mitrovica at noon on Sunday, in a protest that they have described as peaceful and democratic.
"Brothers and sisters, let's all gather in a big gathering in North Mitrovica, at 12:00, in front of the monument of 'Tsar Lazar' to convey to Europe and the world, unanimously, that our only state is Serbia and President Aleksandar Vucic", says the call of the Serbian List.
There is a call for citizens to place Serbian flags on the windows of their houses.
On Saturday, Lista Serbe and the Serbs announced their departure from the institutions of Kosovo. The decision was justified by the escalating sanctions that the Government of Kosovo imposed on those who refused to convert illegal license plates to RKS ones. For non-implementation of the Government's decision, the Director of Police in the North, Nenad Gjuriq, was suspended.
