Lenjani asks Thaçi: Is the idea to join Lugina with Kosovo, or Karaçeva with Serbia

Once again, the alarm comes from Karaçeva. It is Selver Lenjani, the chairman of the Local Municipality of Karaçeva, who this time wrote an open letter to the president of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, about, as he said, the "terror that is being experienced" by the residents of this deep border area with Serbia.

Lenjani, in the open letter to Thaçi, wrote that only half an hour had enjoyed his idea for the union of the Valley with Kosovo, Koha.net reports. This illusion was broken by the patrolling of Serbian forces deep inside this village of Kamenica.

"Karacheva is practically controlled by the state of Serbia, that is. over 26.000 hectares of Kosovo's land are joining Serbia. Over 170 landowners are losing their meadows and fields and Serbia is taking them from them. Horror!", Lenjani wrote, among other things.

He also had a question for Thaci.

"Was your proposal for the Union of the Presheva Valley with Kosovo or was it a Proposal for the union of Karacheva with Serbia!?" asked Lenjani.

"Now we, as residents of this area, are in great trouble and extremely disappointed and we are convinced that the Union of the Preševo Valley with Kosovo is NOT at all, but as it is seen, Karačeva will join Serbia (don't oh God)! We are witnesses and we are seeing every day with our own eyes here on the ground how the Serbs 'give territory' to Kosovo", said Lenjani, who closed the letter with an invitation to Thaçi to visit Karaceva on a weekend, as he had done some time ago in the North of the country.

Open letter to the President of Kosovo, Mr. Hashim Thaci

Honorable President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi.

I am Selver Lenjani, chairman of the Local Municipality of Karaçeva, KK Kamenica.

I am addressing you with this open letter simply to present a preoccupation of the residents of this area that has not left us alone for 19 years.

First of all, I want to tell you that we, the residents of this area, who are on the border with the Presheva Valley, were very happy when we heard the news or your proposal for the Union of the Presheva Valley with Kosovo. This news turned that day into a great day of joy not only for me but for all the residents of Karaçeva and Albanians in general. However, this joy did not even last half an hour, because from the balcony of my house in Karaçevo, I saw the Serbian Police patrol patrolling our fields and meadows, within the territory of the state of Kosovo. So our half-hour joy immediately turned into the greatest disappointment and bitterness that has lasted us for 19 years now, as residents of Karacheva.

Now Mr. President, the residents of this area are asking me, as the chairman of the Local Municipality, to ask you that;

Was your Proposal for the Union of the Presheva Valley with Kosovo or was it a Proposal for the union of Karacheva with Serbia!?

Now we, as residents of this area, are in great trouble and extremely disappointed, and we are convinced that there is absolutely NO reason for the Union of the Preševo Valley with Kosovo, but as you can see, Karačeva will join Serbia (don't Lord)!

We are witnesses and we are seeing every day with our own eyes here on the ground how the Serbs "give territory" to Kosovo.

Mr. President, Karaçeva (if we look at it closely), it is a much more serious case than the North of Kosovo, because in the North of Kosovo, the Kosovo Police are patrolling, while in Karaçeva, the Army and the Police are patrolling in Serbian uniforms! Horror! For the Kosovo Police, it is forbidden to patrol in that area of Karacheva. My hometown Karačeva is practically controlled by the state of Serbia, that is. over 26.000 hectares of Kosovo's land are joining Serbia. Over 170 landowners are losing their meadows and fields and Serbia is taking them from them. Horror!

The inhabitants of this side rightly CANNOT believe that the Serbs can give you the Presheva Valley (which is legally a territory under Serbia) while Serbia is taking Karaceva in front of our eyes with over 26.000 hectares of land that are inside the map and the territory of Kosovo?!

It is a utopia to believe that the Serbs have become so stupid and stupid that they will give you the Presheva Valley without taking anything from Kosovo, when the whole world knows very well the great appetites of Serbia towards the territories of Kosovo.

President, I hope you don't play with our feelings and with the blood of the martyrs, but first stop the Police and the Army of Serbia from leaving us alone in our lands and houses inside the map of Kosovo and then we go outside the map of Kosovo because since it is seen today that it is not the thread of the Union of the Presheva Valley with Kosovo! President, before uniting the Presheva Valley, order the Kosovo Police to patrol the border zone of Karačeva and at least not lose these 26.000 hectares of land to Kosovo, because Kosovo has lost a lot of land historically, by forgiving Serbia and Mali Black...!

Finally, we invite you, Mr. President of Kosovo, to come for a weekend visit to Karaçeva and first unite Karaçeva with Kosovo, and then we will unite not only Presheva Valley but also Sanxhak, Plava and Gucina, etc. Step by step!- say the English...! Even Karaçeva is Kosovo and deserves a visit from the President of Kosovo and not only Ujmani.

Hoping that you will give a positive response to this open letter, thank you in advance...!
