The Minister of Infrastructure, Pal Lekaj, has confirmed on KTV's Puls that the ministry he leads will fine "Bechtel & Enka" 12 million euros.
This, according to him, is due to previous delays in carrying out works on the "Arbën Xhaferi" highway.
"We are at the end of the project and we will stop about 11 or 12 million euros. That's all they will stop", he said.
Lekaj admits that "Bechtel&Enka" has not yet installed the anti-noise panels in "Arbën Xhaferi"
The figure, however, is many times lower than what Kosovo paid for the delays in the direction of "Bechtel&Enkas". That figure reaches 53 million euros.
