Lajcak meets Hysen and Gjuriq

The special envoy of the European Union for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, met Skender Hysen and Marko Gjuric on Thursday in Brussels.

Lajçak has published photos of these meetings on his official Twitter account.

"Today, we continue our political discussions at the expert level. I am pleased to meet the negotiators of both sides, Skender Hysen and Marko Gjuriq this morning", he wrote.

On Thursday, Hyseni and Gjuriqi will address the issues that were discussed at the high-level meeting between Kosovo and Serbia, which was held last week under the mediation of the EU, between the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Calf.

"We have sent the invitations, we are waiting to hear from the parties. The expert-level meeting will focus on the topics that have been discussed", said the spokeswoman of the European Union, for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy in the EU, Nabila Massrali.

Experts from both countries, as the Kosovar side says, will prepare the draft of the final Kosovo-Serbia agreement. While they oppose the assertions that Thursday's dialogue in Brussels has a technical character.

Hoti ruled out such a thing even on Thursday.

"Now Kosovo has started the dialogue for mutual recognition and today in Brussels the drafting of this agreement begins. The dismissive approach to dialogue and to our friends in the recent past has isolated us. The house is not kept without friends", he wrote on Facebook.
